Chongwe is one of the oldest and most established companies in the Lower Zambezi and going into the 17th year of operations can compete with most operators for longevity except of course with Norman Carr Safaris, the grandfather of photographic safaris in Zambia and indeed Africa. A staggering 62 year proud history. Part owners of Chongwe Safaris, the Dalais family, are now also part owners of Norman Carr and so two much loved Zambian safari brands find their future paths converging. We are honoured, proud and very excited to see what this marriage will bring.

Although our separate identities will remain intact we will use our combined resources and experience to take the safari formulae to the next level.
